About Haseeb
Haseeb Abbasi is a Sargent Shriver International Global Messenger for Special Olympics and had the distinct honour of representing over 6 million Special Olympics athletes around the world for a term of 05 years (2018-2023). He delivers the Special Olympics vision, “which is to strive to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people”.
He’s also a cyclist and has cycled from the rocky mountains of Hunza to the Sandy beaches of Karachi and has earned several awards and medals in his endeavours. He hopes to see a world where people with intellectual disabilities are seen as equal members of the community. He along with his other team members are trying to advocate for the rights of PWIDS so that they too can become independent and productive members of the community.
